A nearly finished version of iOS 5 has been seeded to Carriers

A nearly finished version of iOS 5 has been seeded to carriers and retailers for testing. It was sent for testing and training. Retailers who received this version of iOS 5 were asked to test its newest feature, FaceTime over 3G. Because the new FaceTime over 3G feature is strictly in testing stages, it’s unknown whether or not it will make the final cut for iOS 5.

The other new addition to this new iOS 5 seed is Nuance technology, a very advanced voice to text system-wide integration feature – A similar one is found in the Android operating system.

With the “almost” finished version of iOS 5 in the hands of retailers, it’s safe to say that Apple is preparing for its release.
