Today I’m going to be showing you my Top 5 iOS Games of 2011. These are in no particular order.
2011 brought a fantastic collection of diverse games to the App Store. Great Apps like Minecraft Pocket Edition, Infinity Blade 2, Grand Theft Auto 3 just to name a few. But here are my top 5 Games for iOS of 2011.
First up is Sonic & SEGA All Stars Racing by SEGA America. It is a great Mario Kart style racing game for you iOS device. It has multiple tracks, cars and powerups to keep you entertained. They is also multiplayer which works amazingly well and multiple game types to keep you playing for hours. Check it out in the App Store for £0.69/$0.99.
Next is Tiny Tower by Nimble Bit. Tiny Tower is an awesome and very addictive free game for you iPhone. You manage a tower and have multiple floors that have shops, restaurants and apartments on them. You move visitors up and down the elevator to help your Tower’s economy. My third App is Jetpack Joyride by Halfbrick. Jetpack Joyride is a simple side scroller for you iOS device. You are Barry who is testing jetpacks; the aim is to get as far as possible. But on the journey you collect coins, doge electricity fields and find powerups. It is very addictive and is a must have game!
Second till last is Tiny Wings by a developer’s name that I can’t say. You are a bird that tries to get as far as possible in one day before it gets dark. The aim of the game is to get as far as you can whilst collecting coins. You use hills as slides to make you fly higher and higher into the clouds and move from island to island. It is a great Game that is very addictive; check it out in the App Store for £0.69/$0.99.
Last but not least is Temple Run by Imangi Studios. It is an endless running game for you iDevice. You collect coins and jump and slide over an under obstacles so you don’t fall off. It is a great game and you will have hours of fun trying to beat your high score. Check it out in the App Store for Free.
