Reports have recently surfaced suggesting that Apple is working with Intel to release a smart watch in the first half of 2013. A smart watch is a device that connects to smartphones via bluetooth or other wireless technologies to pull weather, your email, sports scores, calendar and more to the watch.
According to TGBUS, the “iWatch” will connect with any existing iOS device and it will launch in the new year.
Supply chain, said Intel is designed for Apple Bluetooth smart watches, this product is RiTdisplay 1.5-inch OLED screen, other aspects of the supply chain, with a rhenium ocean of OGS encore indium tin oxide transparent conductive (ITO) glass.
It seems a weird market for Apple to enter, as the company largely focuses on music players, operating systems, laptops, tablets and phones. Many smart watches retail for around £100 so, Apple would have to sell it for cheap to attract a large percentage of the market.
We will have to wait until the new year to find out if Apple will sell such a device.
