Google Search for Android Jelly Bean was updated on Wednesday and it brought a few new features with it. Among the bug fixes and changes, users can now place a Google Now widget onto their home screens and lock screens.

We figured out that something like this was coming, but it wasn’t expected this quickly. In addition to the widget, the update also brings move ratings from Rotten Tomatoes and integration with Fandango similar to Passbook on iOS. When you purchase a ticket through Fandango, Google Now will provide a QR code for your ticket, and will even appear when you leave for the theatre.

There are also a ton of small updates within the app, boosting Google Now’s bragging rights as one of the premier mobile features of Android. With the next version of Android arriving in May, we can’t wait to see what Google introduces.
