Google updated YouTube for iOS this Monday to include a new feature, the ability to view live streams straight from the app.

In addition to this major feature, YouTube also fixed a few minor bugs, including a My Subscriptions feed and support for queuing up videos for TV playback. Google also improved the performance and speed of the application.

Google released the standard app, after Apple removed it with iOS 6, but it hasn’t been as popular as other third-party apps, but it’s nice to see Google slowly adding important features.
