Google Now hits iOS with new Google Search App update

Google Now has finally arrived on iOS, but instead of it being a button press away, it is hidden inside the Google Search app.

With the limitations that Apple has put in place, you have to open the app to access Google Now. The app does offer a similar experience that you can get on Android, but it is in an app rather than the operating system. It features most of the cards and information that the service is famous for.

You need to sign into a Google account to use it though, this step is bypassed in Android as you already have done when you set up your phone. Some users may notice that a few of the cards are missing in the iOS version, but we expect Google will continue to add them gradually.
