At WWDC 2013, Apple announced their long rumoured radio streaming service, called iTunes Radio. Inside the Music app on iOS and in iTunes on the Desktop, users will see a new option with featured stations, their own stations and more. When you select a station, it begins streaming music straight from the cloud. Users can share songs and stations, skip through songs and purchase a song whilst listening to it.
It’s built right into iOS 7 and iTunes as well as the Apple TV. It’s free with ads, or ad free for iTunes Match subscribers.
iTunes Radio will launch in the U.S. first, then roll out to other countries as time goes on.
