On Wednesday, Facebook introduced embeddable posts that will allow websites to embed status updates, videos and photos.
The posts work the same way as Twitter and YouTube embeds. Once your account is enabled, you will see a ‘Embed Post’ link that will produce some code that you can put onto your website.
The post has to be public so it can be embedded however.
Facebook launched hashtags back in June, so users can track a set public posts. The new embeds can also include hashtags, which readers can click on to see those discussions.
