Twitter rolled out and update today to iOS, Android and their website that includes a new way to look at users conversations.
Conversations between people you follow are now connected via blue lines. The aim is to make it easier to keep track of a conversation that may be interesting to you in a stream of tweets.
Twitter wrote on their blog:
As you can see, Tweets that are part of a conversation are shown in chronological order so it’s easier for you to follow along. You’ll see up to three Tweets in sequence in your home timeline; if you want to see more, you can tap a Tweet to see all the replies, including those from people you don’t follow. We will start rolling this out to everyone today.
Tweets are displayed in chronological order, so the timeline changes the order of a few tweets, which some users are finding confusing:
