Amazon’s e-book subscription service – Kindle Unlimited – was launched in the US two months ago and allowed subscribers to read thousands of e-books for a flat fee every month. Engadget spotted that the service is now available in the UK with 650,000 e-books and “thousands” of audiobooks.

The service will cost £7.99 a month and you don’t need a Kindle to use it. You can use the Kindle apps available for iOS, Android, Windows Phone, PC, Mac and even BlackBerry.

Its worth noting that the service will probably not have all of the bestselling books on Amazon, but you will have more than enough to read every month. You can start a 30-day free trial here.
